Description of Classes

 

 

 Align 1:

Gentle flow & attention to detail. This gently flowing, interactive practice is designed to give more opportunity to explore and learn at your own pace with added attention to alignment and adaptation. Suitable for those who have completed a beginner workshop or have some knowledge of the basic postures.

 Align/Flow:

A juicy class designed to help you safely bring Alignment principles into your flow. Suitable for all levels except absolute beginners.

 

 Flow 1:

Moderate flow & mix of foundation postures. This practice creates a balance of heat and calm in the body, drawing upon postures that are challenging, yet accessible to a wide range of students. FLOW 1 is suitable for people who are comfortable with the basic postures and are ready to move through them with creativity.

 Flow 1-2:

A powerful Vinyasa flow class that will provide options for Advanced Beginner through Advanced Yogis with a lively pace that is challenging and yet accessible for all.

 Turbo Flow:

Brisk flow & mix of foundation postures. This practice creates a balance of heat and calm in the body, drawing upon postures that are challenging, yet accessible to a wide range of students. 60 minutes to accommodate your busy schedule. Suitable for Adv. Beginner to Advanced Students.

  Flow 2:

Strong flow & challenging postures. This powerful, often sweat-drenching practice cultivates cleansing heat in the body and builds strength, stamina and focus. Students explore a wide range of arm balances and “sense-of-adventure poses.” The pace is brisk, yet intelligent, and the intensity and heat come more from the pace than from the holds or complexity.


Gentle Kripalu:

 This class is inspired by Kripalu Yoga where practice begins gently with an emphasis on breath, relaxation and self-acceptance. Kripalu Yoga recognizes that everyone's body is different and encourages modifications of postures to meet individual needs.

 

 Shakti Flow:

 This dynamic vinyasa flow, combined with sanskrit chanting and empowering pranayama will allow a deep connection to your inner shakti (divine energy). Exhuberant, eclectic music (from bob marley to bob dylan) plays an integral role in this life-affirming practice.
