My yoga journey began the week after college when my father finally convinced me to join him at Kripalu for a weekend. Always movement and health oriented, and struggling with a lifelong battle with my weight, I had been searching for a way to bring a sense of meaning and mindfulness to my routine workouts - and my life. After the very first class, I knew I had found what I was looking for, and something even more - I found myself.

After practicing for several years, I decided to take the next step and take a Yoga Teacher Training to deepen my practice. At that point I didn’t even dream that I would actually teach others, but after training, I knew I had to bring this life changing practice to the world.

My initial training was at Yoga Haven in 2003, after which I taught in various locations in lower Westchester, NY for several years and studied with many teachers all over the country. After moving to Mt. Kisco in 2008, I found Quest Yoga Arts, and my new “yoga home” where I began teaching (and learning). I added to my knowledge and experience by becoming a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist. Shortly after, I took another step forward in my journey, and left my 9 – 5 job to become the owner of Quest Yoga Arts.

My Hatha classes incorporate alignment principles and elements of the Vinyasa and Kripalu styles of yoga. Pranayama, breathwork), Asana (poses), and Meditation are included in each class. You will leave feeling relaxed, energized, and more present in your body. I especially enjoy teaching Beginners and giving students the building blocks for their yoga practice.
